Connection to Roy: The 2020 Candid-50 exhibition was the first time I was introduced to Roy. Following the opening night, Roy gave each artist a breakdown of why he chose their work and what resonated with him.
I do not remember all of his comments, but I do recall chatting briefly with him afterwards about my love of the cross icon. So it just seems fitting today to explore further the cross in "Remembering Roy".
