The Bridge Pa Sculpture Trail coincides with the days of Chinese New Year; a threshold marked by renewal and movement. The passing Year of the Snake, with its slow, necessary shedding, an act of release and trust in natural rhythms, gives way to the Year of the Horse, carrying energy, freedom and forward motion.

These ideas remain an undertone. Along the path, recycled road signs, triangle, hexagon and circle, are re-formed as sculptural markers. Abstract and figurative surfaces respond to light, weather and passage, offering new meanings in a shifting world. Pause, move, return. Use your phone or camera’s flashlight to see the works reflect and transform, echoing how they come alive when lit after dark.

Delicia Sampero is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. Her practice explores the intersections of philosophy, space, time, and image, with recycled road signs as markers: signalling, guiding, transforming. Her work creates resonance between the human figure and the shifting signals of the world, a quiet conversation of body, image, spirit, place, and the present moment.
