Artist profile: Doreen Chatvick

Inspired by watching her Grandfather paint when she was younger, Doreen finally found the time to start painting 12 years ago, following her retirement. She has since enjoyed success at local and national exhibitions, including the Art-x National Exhibition and the Affordable Art Exhibition at Napier Girls High School. She was one of the first artists to have a solo exhibition at Community Arts Napier and has sold her paintings to buyers in Australia, South Africa and the USA, and New Zealand.
