Jocelyn Pratt’s passion is sculpting hardstone; exploring and enhancing the natural qualities of stone in form, polish, texture, light and shadow. Jocelyn creates tactile, restful forms, celebrating the natural solidity and strength of stone.  
 
Her works are often an expression of optimism for change in society and are influenced by the surrounding environment. Recent works are suggestive of taking time to appreciate the beauty and form of everyday objects and the plants close to us. Her works are described as graceful, restful, and stylish simplicity and are held in public and private collections internationally and within Aotearoa.
